The RMPI Staff would like to encourage all participants to review these documents in their entirety. Underlined items indicate suggested reading topics within the Enrollment Protocols, before arrival to the Pedorthic Practicum.

Also important to note, is that by completing an Enrollment Application, the student acknowledges the following Student Selection Policy:

The RMPI is an open admission institution whose policy is to accept all who meet general admission requirements to the institution. Some programs have selective admission requirements in addition to those required by the institution for general admission. The completion of the enrollment form indicates that the student self-certifies that they have visual acuity sufficient to observe and assess patients, auditory acuity sufficient to hear instructions and request, motor ability necessary to manipulate equipment and power tools, speak, write, and comprehend English, communicate in a professional manner, lift up to 50 pounds and has no health issues that will affect the competency or safety of themselves or others (including unborn children for women who are pregnant knowingly or unknowingly - there are hazardous chemicals and odors used in the Practicum that may adversely affect the health of the unborn child such as glues and adhesives, thinner and material cleaners, etc.; and has a H.S. Diploma or GED.
